Key to driving change is to act from your ideal self and vision of the future. In this module you will:

• Discover and articulate your personal vision, including passions and purposes anchored in the neuroscience-based 'positive emotional attractor’.
• Understand the roles that emotional attractors and the ideal self play in leading change and collaborating with others.
• Take a neuroscience-based approach to working with values and vision, as well as co-creation and collaboration.
• Identify and define your values, desirable traits, and personal vision (reinforcing the importance of these powerful drivers).

Studies have revealed that there are at least three independent intellectual domains, that each domain has its own brain network, and that they are highly susceptible to a number of influences. In this module you will:

• Understand the different domains of cognitive function and their roles in daily life and high-performance.
• Recognize how sleep, exercise, nutrition, and stress are impacting your cognitive function, and make simple changes to improve your cognition overnight.
• Utilize tools and resources to improve your memory, reasoning, verbal ability and attention.

Stress can have a profound impact on our ability to function, and regulating our responses and reactions is critical to being effective in our role. In this module you will:

• Describe the different types of stress, and the mindset we need to take in order to tap into it as a strength.
• Recognize when you need to regulate your response to stressful situations, and adjust accordingly.
• Utilize tools and resources to reduce stress levels when needed.
• Work with the brain's emotional system to improve your health, wellbeing, relationships, and performance.
• Understand how the brain makes emotions, and that you have more control over your experiences than you think.
• Use the two-step affect awareness and labeling process to increase emotional awareness and granularity, for improved emotion regulation.

Coaching skills are essential for effective leadership. In this module you will:

• Adopt a coaching leadership style, to cultivate trust and safety, evoke awareness, and facilitate change.
• Develop core coaching competenices, such as active listening and powerful questioning.
• Use evidence-based solution-focused strategies to work through problems and make effective decisions.
• Help team members gain insight into the barriers preventing them from changing their behavior.
• Create an action plan so that team members know exactly what to work on, and can start taking action immediately.

Problem-solving and decision-making can be tackled strategically. In this module you will:

• Describe the how, why and when of insight and analytical thinking as thought-modalities for problem solving.
• Highlight why the biggest issue when faced with a problem or decision is not the problem or decision itself, but the brain's response, and how to address it.
• Utilize a neuroscience-based coaching process to facilitate insight-solutions to problems.
• Help team members mitigate biases to make more effective decisions.

Research has shown that meeting our psychological needs enables us to think and perform at our peak, increases motivation and engagement, enhances workplace well-being, and improves productivity and performance. Conversely, when our brain detects threats to these needs it triggers a series of physiological and psychological reactions, including activation of the threat response characterized by increased adrenaline and cortisol levels.

This response can impair cognitive function, decision-making, and collaborative efforts in modern work and social contexts, undermining our performance and effectiveness. Furthermore, differences in psychological needs between colleagues or team members can lead to frustration or conflict. In this module you will:

• Plan for potential threats to your psychological needs, to modify behavior, choices, or responses.
• Regulate your reaction to psychological threats as they are occurring, to decrease reactivity and poor decision-making.
• Explain and better understand previous situations through the PsychASSETS lens, to identify areas to improve.
• Develop effective ways of meeting your unique psychological needs, for greater well-being, improved relationships and performance at work.
• Support and lead others based on their psychological needs, for improved relationships, team dynamics, and effective leadership.
